FULL CIRCLE FRIDAY-EXPRESS YOURSELF!

All the stories you know, and ones you don’t, but should. Welcome to FULL CIRCLE FRIDAY

MONDAY
-Papa John, Jason Garrett, Tony Romo, George Bush all in the JerryDome for the NCAA National Championship game.
I haven't seen a larger gathering of evil-doers (and Bill Clinton) since...
-Speaking of the National Championship, I'm appalled that CBS would televise a live homicide...
No! I'm not talking about James Young's dunk (although he did send a couple dudes straight to hell), I'm talking about Kentucky's free-throw shooting!

TUESDAY
-Parents, do you ever want to ensure your punk-ass kids behave?
Tell them the Dodgers' new mascot/demon spawn will get them if they keep up with the nonsense.

-Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez joined forces (again) to drop the official anthem of the 2014 World Cup (beginning June 12) entitled "We Are One (ole, ola)."
I'll be watching a lot of World Cup matches and l may need a king's ransom in booze to get through a month of THAT creeping in before every commercial break.

Thought I'd never say it but Mr. 305 needs to stick to making music about broads and Bud Light.

WEDNESDAY
-In Atlanta, they like their American Flag well-done...
Good to see free-speech night is off to a promising start at Turner Field.

-The Portland Trail Blazers and all-star forward LaMarcus Aldrige appeared on Fred Armisen's IFC sketch-ccomedy series Portlandia.
It's the perfect pairing really; no one outside of that city watches either.

THURSDAY
-College Hockey buzzer-beater?
College Hockey buzzer-beater.  That should take care of anything College Hockey related on this blog for I dunno....the next 20 years.

But fuck all that shit right now...
The Ultimate Warrior died Tuesday!

A lot of people roll their eyes at pro wrestling and the people who enjoy it...are the outcomes predetermined?

Sure.

But so are movies, TV shows and 99% of beefs in the Rap game.

I've always looked at the "sport" as a testosterone-fueled soap opera.  It's the story lines that captivate me and keep people watching more than the physical aspect.

However, there is a dark side and Pro Wrestling can be a crazy business.

In the last 10 years, guys I grew up watching ...Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Macho Man Randy Savage, Bam Bam Bigelow and more have all met sad, tragic ends.

Ultimate Warrior's (real name Jim Hellwig) death was a shocker because if you followed him much, you were well aware of some of his demons and past missteps.

At the end of the day, the guy seemed like he had almost reached redemption.

He was right there with Hulk Hogan as the alpha dog in wrestling for nice run.

Recently returned to the WWE after an 18-year absence and had put a number of his past grudges with CEO Vince McMahon as well as other performers to pass.

Inducted into the WWE's hall of fame two days earlier followed by an appearance the night before his death on Monday Night Raw where he delivered a speech to the crowd that eerily sounded like his own eulogy...
Ultimate Warrior is gone and a little piece of our childhood just went along with him. R.I.P ya crazy bastard.

-Looks like the concession stands at The Masters took a page from the McDonald's dollar menu! If you're in Augusta, all you gotta do is shift through your vehicle's coin holder and you can get your chicken biscuit on!
See what happens with no Tiger?

FRIDAY
-In case you were wondering...
Visitation for Quincy Miller's ankles will be at 10 a.m. today followed by the funeral at 10:30 on Saturday.  He's survived by a two knees, two arms, a torso and a head.

WEEKEND WATCH!
What you should be doing this weekend if you know, you’re not drunk or doing something better…

DON'T SEE DRAFT DAY!
Kevin Kostner is an asshole and it's about the Cleveland Browns...need I say more?

DON'T WATCH THE MASTERS!
You know, it's alright to admit you only time you watched in the first place was for the final round because you know...Tiger!

DON'T WATCH THE NBA OR NHL!
Hockey playoffs start next Wednesday? Basketball?  Next Saturday.  Have you ever watched the last week of either?

Atrocious.

Teams in the playoffs rest all their starters and the ones that aren't?  More interested in that trip to St. Thomas than playing one last week of competitive ball or puck.

FRIDAY SHOUT-OUT!
Recognizing whomever the hell I want!
Shout-out to UConn and Coach Kevin Ollie!

You thought I forgot about you didn't you Kevo?!  Not a chance.  The picture above lets you know just how recently dude was in the NBA and what he's done in just two seasons is nothing short of remarkable...
Still wanted Calipari to win just to piss the world off!

I'm gone but I'll be back same WST time, same WST place!  As always, thanks for your support!  I suddenly remembered my Charlemagne.

-WST
